'GAMECHANGER' READY FOR CHARTERS FOR THOSE WITH THE MOST ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT
Start planning your next adventure on board the 72.25m 2017 Damen-built explorer yacht GAME CHANGER, ready to travel the world once more following a major refit in 2020.
With the desire for explorer travel on the rise, the highly capable yacht has earned her stripes when it comes to global exploration, having recently completed a world voyage for ocean research. GAME CHANGER’s five-star dive resort, which includes superb dive equipment for up to 12 guests, also makes her well equipped for a dive holiday of a lifetime.
GAME CHANGER has accommodation for 11 guests on board, across five cabins, as well as six support staff, and she comes with an adventurous crew of 16.
In 2020, GAME CHANGER underwent a 10-month refit, which saw her entire stern remodelled, including an extension that features a new swim platform and a heated beach club for chilly mornings in Antarctica. In addition, GAME CHANGER has a new interior theme by Struik & Hammerslag and there have been upgrades to vibration and noise control.
Thanks to numerous high-tech accessories and toys – including a three-person custom-built C-Researcher submarine by U-boat with WASSP sonar, and a six-person custom Airbus helicopter – guests can experience deep dives over 1,000 metres beneath the surface of the sea and soar 1,000 metres up into the sky in some of the world’s most unexplored locations.
Explorer charters in 2021
GAME CHANGER will cruise from Europe to the Caribbean and Bahamas for Christmas and before continuing to the Americas, where her itinerary will depend on charter enquiries.
GAME CHANGER’S plans for summer 2021 are very much open – step aboard for an off-the-beaten track charter to Iceland, Norway or Alaska, or even book her for a long charter in the Med. In winter 2022, she may well head back to Antarctica, a place she visited in 2019. However, as a standalone expedition vessel, the cruising possibilities on GAME CHANGER really are endless.
GAME CHANGER comes with numerous tenders for further exploration, including a 12m Intrepid and an 8m custom build Landing Craft which is the perfect platform for viewing and documenting wildlife and carrying her ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) used for research, HD filming and submersible support.
