SPAIN & BALEARIC ISLANDS

SPAIN & BALEARIC ISLANDS
With 300 days of sun per year, incredible beaches, a rich culture, and a buzzing nightlife, Spain and the Balearic Islands are a hugely popular holiday destination. It’s a haven for those who want to relax on a lounger, take a dip in the sea or spend their time enjoying superb chilled out dining.
BARCELONA
Barcelona is the capital of the Spanish Mediterranean and seat to many international organisations. Barcelona or BCN is known for a lot of wonderful architecture, such as the Sagrada Familia, superb markets, restaurants and cafes, plus excellent football & beaches
COSTA DEL SOL
It won’t surprise too many people to hear that the Costa del Sol is famous for its beaches. The towns along Spain’s ‘Sunshine Coast’ each have several beautiful stretches of sand, though that is often their only similarity. Celebrity popular Marbella offers a luxury lifestyle.
COSTA BRAVA
The Costa Brava is well-known for the many resort towns such as Lloret de Mar and Blanes, but the truth is that there are also many hidden gems on the Costa Brava: picturesque towns and typical fishing villages dotted along the rocky coast.
MALLORCA
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and is a complete natural beauty with its sweeping bays, impressive mountains, picturesque coves and luscious pine forests. Visit Old Town in central Palma to explore the rich history that dates back thousands of years, its thriving art scene, and world class dining.
IBIZA
Although many may think Ibiza is for the younger generation who love to party at Ocean Beach, there’s a subdued side to this island making it the perfect place for a spot of relaxation. A-listed DJs and bars make up San Antonio’s lively vibe but, for a much quieter beat, Old Town is the one for you. A UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting stunning architecture and packed full of historic sites to explore.
MENORCA
Menorca is a beautiful unspoiled place full of ancient little towns, hidden coves, sandy roads and many historic monuments. You’ll be spoilt for choice if you love a relaxing beach holiday. Have a go at spotting angel fish through a glass bottomed boat in Mahon Harbour or uncover bottle-green coves in Son Bou.
FORMENTERA
Although Formentera is the smallest of all the Balearic Islands, it certainly makes up for it through cultural sites, its rustic appeal and breath-taking sunsets. Blessed with miles of unspoiled white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters this island is laid back and best suited for couples or groups of adults. Noticeably calmer than its neighbour Ibiza and with no airport, so peace is assured.
