Day 1: All aboard your Star-Ship
Board your award-winning Star-Ship in Amsterdam, and settle into your contemporary surrounds. Walk the decks, familiarise yourself with the generous amenities on offer, and get to know our friendly crew.
Day 2: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Discover the charms of Amsterdam, joining us on a serene canal cruise through the capital city. Or, enjoy a guided bike ride to Waterland, cycling by the beautiful countryside and quintessential windmills.
Day 3: Cologne, Germany
One of Germany’s oldest cities, Cologne has many iconic landmarks to see, such as Cologne Cathedral. Experience the delights of the Old Town on a guided tour, and learn more about the city’s storied past.
Day 4: Rüdesheim, Germany
Meander through the fairy tale surrounds of Rhine Gorge, complete with hilltop castles and fortresses. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy the delights of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Cabinet Museum.
Day 5: Miltenberg—Wertheim, Germany
The picturesque village of Miltenberg awaits, where you’ll amble the medieval surrounds on a guided tour. In Wertheim, witness an exclusive glassblowing presentation at the Glass Art Museum.
Day 6: Würzburg, Germany
Enjoy a walking tour of Würzburg and visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bishop’s Residence in the morning and learn how this impressive building was restored to its former glory.
Day 7: Bamberg, Germany
Take it nice and easy on board as you sail towards Bamberg, where you can join a guided tour through the city in the afternoon.
Day 8: Nuremberg, Germany
Join us on a guided tour of Nuremburg, a city steeped in history spanning many centuries, inspiring famous artists and becoming one of the major locations integral to the war years.
Day 9: Regensburg, Germany
Enjoy a guided tour of Regensburg, or take part in an optional local sausage-making workshop. The tunes provided by a traditional Bavarian band on board provides the evening’s entertainment.
Day 10: Passau, Germany
A city rebuilt after fires ravaged the landscape in the 17th century, a guided tour of Passau will introduce you to historic architecture. Alternatively, join fellow guests on optional excursions to either Salzburg or Český Krumlov.
Day 11: Melk—Dürnstein, Austria
Located in Austria’s wine-growing region, Melk’s stunning Benedictine abbey is yours to explore, complete with fine Baroque architecture, ornate gold leaf walls, and the ancient monastic library.
Day 12: Vienna, Austria
Explore the opulent Austrian capital and revel in the city’s creative delights on a wonderous art tour of Vienna. Or, keep fit and active by joining a guided bike tour of the extravagant city.
Day 13: Bratislava, Slovakia
Amble the welcoming charms of Bratislava on a walking tour of the Slovakian capital, or join a guided hike to Bratislava Castle. Enjoy coffee and cake with a Slovakian family in the afternoon, with a home-hosted visit.
Day 14 & 15: Budapest, Hungary
The capital city of Budapest has plenty of delights, many of which you’ll experience as you enjoy a guided coach tour. A traditional Hungarian folklore show on board will round off your day. The following morning, enjoy breakfast on board before bidding farewell to the crew, and your fellow travellers, ready for your transfer to the airport.
